Montez Alford, Founder and Chief Executive of Sword of Change Inc, draws her inspiration from a deeply rooted military heritage. As the daughter of a Vietnam Veteran and Purple Heart Recipient, and the granddaughter of a World War I Veteran, Montez's commitment to supporting veterans and their families runs deep.
Montez's dedication to veterans' rights extends beyond her personal experiences. Actively involved in organizations such as the American Legion Auxiliary and the National Association of County Veterans Service Officers, she advocates tirelessly for the well-being of those who have served their country. Additionally, Montez serves on the leadership council for the National Small Business Association and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, furthering her impact across various sectors.
With over two decades of experience in operational healthcare financial management and roadmap engineering solutions, Montez brings a wealth of expertise to Sword of Change Inc. Holding a degree in Business Administration from Saint Louis University and a Masters in Business Management, along with certifications in Women's Entrepreneurial Business Program from Cornell University and Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations, from D'Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families - IVMF at Syracuse University. Montez combines her passion for veterans' rights with her strategic acumen to drive positive change and support those in need.
