Tanya Jones is a trailblazing entrepreneur, author, playwright, advocate, creative, award-winning international speaker, thriving survivor, and veteran. With over 15 years of experience in Equal Opportunity, Diversity & Inclusion, and Compliance within the Department of Defense, Tanya has made significant strides in driving cultural change and fostering inclusive environments. 

As the founder and CEO of Interactive Advocacy, she dedicates herself to educating and empowering individuals and organizations through innovative training tools, resources, and live stage performances.

Tanya's groundbreaking work includes the development of the"DON'T JUST STAND THERE!" training series, which features facilitator-led modules and live stage performances based on her personal experiences of sexual trauma. 

Her largest immersive production to date has been performed at the Annual Conference for NOVA and on multiple military stages across the country. Tanya's creative endeavors also include the "THIS IS NOT A GAME" training tool series, and the co-creation of the Awareness Vibes collection, fashion/merchandise line.

In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Tanya has received numerous accolades, including the President's Lifetime Achievement Award (2024), the Women Economic Development Global Icon Award (2023), and an Outstanding Performance Award from the Department of Defense (2024). As the elected President of the NC Veterans Business Association, Tanya continues to drive positive change, securing cybersecurity scholarships for veterans and their families. With her passion for advocacy, creativity, and empowerment, Tanya Jones is a force to be reckoned with, transforming lives and communities through her impactful work.
